Mark Byrd
Senior Pastor
Pastor Mark has a passion and calling to preach God’s Word and to equip other Christians to serve the Lord and minister to others. As we get closer to the coming of Jesus and the end of the age, the preaching and teaching of God’s Word is the most important work any pastor can do. Through the systematic and expository journey through the Bible, Pastor Mark has a desire to make God’s Word easy to understand and apply to our lives. Mark is married to his lovely bride Donna, who leads our Women’s Ministry. They enjoy their 4 adult children: Jeremiah, Grace, Rachel, and Hannah and their beautiful granddaughter, Aria.

Susan DiGraitis
Church Administrator
I have been in love with the Lord Jesus Christ for 16 years (because He loved me first!). While I was raised in a good family, they were not a family of faith. I lived for all the worldly successes for many years. Then, in one of the darkest times of my life, I was introduced to Jesus and that changed everything!! I have had the privilege of serving him in ministry for a number of years, always in an operational capacity. My gifts are those of administration and helps – and I get to use both in abundance at CCG.
If I can help in any way, please reach out to me at susan@ccgwinnett.com.
Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Kris Diaz
Admin Assistant
Hi, I’m Kris and I first came to know the Lord when I was 13. From that point on, many things started happening in my life. There has certainly been ups and downs; but the one thing I will always remember in all the different seasons, is that God is going to use it for the good of those who He has called according to His purpose!!
I am a wife and a mother of 2 teenagers along with our 3 dogs and chickens. We moved from New Jersey to Georgia in 2021 and I am so excited to see what God has in store for us here. God has given me a passion for Praise and Worship, and my husband and I also have a heart for Marriage Ministry. I enjoy baking, singing, arts & crafts, and event planning. I am so grateful that God led us to Calvary Chapel Gwinnett to be able to serve and grow with the family of Christ. I will do my very best to assist you in any way that I can!
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom he foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His, that He might be the first born amongst the brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorify.” Romans 8:28-30

Lisa Owens
Children’s Ministry Leader
My name is Lisa Owens, and I am thrilled to be a part of the team at CCG. I have grown up in a loving Christian home (thanks Mom and Dad), gave my heart and life to Jesus as a young girl, and have had the privilege of serving Him ever since!
Jason (my amazing husband) and I have been married for 12 years, and we have been blessed with three children: Jackson, Scarlett, and Sawyer. God has allowed me to homeschool them since the beginning, something I am continually grateful for. Being born and raised Southern California kids, we were surprised and excited when God moved us to Georgia in February of 2022.
I am overjoyed to serve as Children’s Ministry coordinator at Calvary Chapel Gwinnett. My fervent desire is for each child to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. I strongly believe parents have the God-given responsibility to train up our children to defend their faith, to answer those who would challenge their belief in a loving and holy God. Incorporating apologetics into our family discussions, my homeschool day, into children’s ministry is critical in ensuring this next generation is prepared to face the challenges the culture will continually throw at them. Lastly, I am fervent about partnering alongside parents and families, helping to provide support, community, and resources to encourage parents in the monumental task of raising our children in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
I would love to meet you and am grateful for this opportunity to share my background and calling with you. If you need to contact me for any reason, send an email to cmcoordinator@ccgwinnett.com.
Blessings,
Lisa Owens
