Calvary Chapel Southeast Children’s Ministry Conference

February 28-March 1, 2025

CONFERENCE THEME: From Generation to Generation

Children’s ministry is essential for church to happen, and we who tend the lambs know it is a greater task than “childcare” would imply. Jesus told His disciples, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” ~ Matthew 19:14.

There is a generation: These little lambs have been entrusted to us by the Good Shepherd. He calls the children to Himself, meanwhile the enemy prowls and seeks to devour them. Great is the war for the souls of children in these troubling days. Our children are attacked from every direction, yet the Good Shepherd bids them to come to Him, find salvation in Him, be loved by Him. Charles Spurgeon wrote, “Expect fruit in your children while they are children. Pray for them that they may not run into the world and fall into the evils of outward sin, and then come back with broken bones to the Good Shepherd; but that they may by God’s rich grace be kept from the paths of the destroyer, to grow up in the folds of Christ, first as lambs of His flock, and then as sheep of His hand.”

This generation: As children’s ministry staff, leaders, volunteers, and parents, we are charged with the care and discipleship of the children in our churches and in our homes. From the earliest Scriptures, the children of Israel were commanded to teach their children the ways of the Lord, that “one generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.” (Psalm 145:40). So, as we gather together to be equipped in our ministry, we pray you will find encouragement, practical take-home ideas, and a renewed heart for the children God has entrusted to your flock. From generation to generation, we share the marvelous and mighty works of the Lord, the tender lovingkindness of a Good Shepherd that bids them come, and the love of Jesus Christ who died so that they may live.

We hope y’all join us for a restoring time of fellowship, worship, solid Biblical teaching, and tools you can bring home to use right away. As we prepare to bless you with some sweet Southern hospitality, we hope you come with hearts prepared to be filled up with joy, that you will return to your churches refreshed and renewed for the ministry to children, a special and commendable work.

If you have any questions, please call the church office at 770-932-5531 or email info@ccgwinnett.com.

We look forward to seeing y’all soon!

This shall be written for the generation to come; and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.” (Psalm 102:18)
