Pastor Mark has a passion and calling to preach God’s Word and to equip other Christians to serve the Lord and minister to others. As we get closer to the coming of Jesus and the end of the age, the preaching and teaching of God’s Word is the most important work any pastor can do. Through the systematic and expository journey through the Bible, Pastor Mark has a desire to make God’s Word easy to understand and apply to our lives.
I have been in love with the Lord Jesus Christ for 16 years (because He loved me first!). While I was raised in a good family, they were not a family of faith. I lived for all the worldly successes for many years. Then, in one of the darkest times of my life, I was introduced to Jesus and that changed everything!! I have had the privilege of serving him in ministry for a number of years, always in an operational capacity. My gifts are those of administration and helps – and I get to use both in abundance at CCG.
If I can help in any way, please reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Children’s Ministry Director
Twenty-seven years ago the Lord saved me from a life of sin and brokenness.
I have attended Calvary Chapel Gwinnett for the past 13 years and am currently serving as the Children’s Ministry Director. My responsibilities as director include preparing lessons, teaching Calvary Kids on Wednesday nights, and coordinating children’s church and activities. My prayer for the children is to see each one of them connect with their family and each other, and most importantly connect with God.
I would love to have the opportunity to meet and serve your child(ren) at CCG. If you would like to contact me, please feel free to do so at email@example.com
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
I was raised in a Christian family, but did not really know the Lord until I came to Calvary Chapel in 1994. It was here that I really learned what it meant to give my life to Jesus. I started serving in the Children’s Ministry and then worked in the Cafe for 15+ years until the Lord opened up the door to go back to the Children’s Ministry. I cannot think of a better way to give back to the Lord for His many blessings over the years.
I joined CCG as an Admin Assistant in February 2018, although I’ve attended CCG for years.
I’ve been married for 23 years to my husband Steve and we reside in Dacula. We have 2 children; one in college at Kennesaw State University and the other working for Emory as a Medical Lab Scientist.
I was saved by grace on May 5th, 1991 and baptized on May 12th, 1991 at First Baptist Church Snellville.
I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
Melanie lives in Flowery Branch with her husband, Louis, and two little fur-babies. They have two adult children, Tiffany and Michelle.
Melanie has done much volunteer work at churches over the years but to work at Calvary Chapel is a highlight of her week. Melanie works in the CCG office on Tuesdays and with the Children’s Ministry on Wednesday nights. Her work includes communications like eblasts, bulletin boards etc. By doing this job she can express her crafty skills which she finds delight in doing. Working with children allows her to have a few minutes to have fun!
We are all “loved with an everlasting love…”
If there is any way Melanie can help give her a call, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or just stop her on Wednesday nights!
